Tony Marshall, President & CEO of Innovative Systems Group Inc. (ISG)

ISG is a 21 year old, Raleigh NC based company that provides Cybersecurity services. Prior to forming ISG Mr. Marshall worked in various IT related positions from software developer to project management. He served in these roles for companies like Mobil Oil, Bell Atlantic and Discovery Communications as well as several lesser known companies.  He’s provided services to federal agencies, State agencies, large and small businesses. He’s found success both nationally and internationally, managing profit centers for companies in IT, cable, healthcare, oil & gas and food service industries. He is an expert in analyzing complex business problems and designing technology based solutions to resolve them.

Under his leadership ISG has developed one of the first Cybersecurity Apprenticeship Programs in the country. When discussing the ISG Cybersecurity Apprenticeship Program (ISG-CAP) Mr. Marshall says “The skills gap in Cybersecurity and other IT disciplines is a significant national problem that will get worse before it gets better.  Apprenticeship is our best hope to train and prepare the next generation. ISG’s found success in working with transitioning veterans to develop them into cybersecurity professionals.

An overview of Mr. Marshall’s career shows a deep commitment to his community along with special talent and passion for delivering solutions to complex business problems that others shy away from. Mr. Marshall has been the recipient of numerous awards over the years to include CMSDC Presidents Award, the Entrepreneur of the Year award, Wake County School-to-Career Volunteer award, YMCA’s “Y” Achiever’s Outstanding Volunteer Award to name a few.
