MCNC Students@Work 2022: Working In Cybersecurity Is Not What You Think It Is



Session Abstract:

In this one-hour session, we'll explore common notions of what cybersecurity is and what it takes to work in the field, and dispel some possibly incorrect assumptions. We'll discuss what cybersecurity is really all about, the reality of working in cybersecurity, and what kinds of skills students should focus on if they are interested in working in cybersecurity.
