Give Your Child a Summer That’s Out of This World with the Science of Space!
GSK Science in the Summer™, is a fun and 100% free science education program for elementary school students entering second through sixth grades. It’s sponsored by GSK and offered through national science centers, community centers and libraries across the country. This summer, led by certified teachers, students will experience the Science of Space through fun, hands-on activities that teach them about Earth’s moon, the sun, the stars, space travel and more.
- Level 1 classes are perfect for second and third graders.
- Level 2 classes are ideal for students entering fourth, fifth and sixth grades.
- Pre-registration is required for all locations.
- Class sizes are limited.

Science in the summer is open to students entering 2nd - 6th grade. Students entering 8th - 11th grade can volunteer to assist the program teacher. The program is free and locations vary.
