AABE Virtual Youth Energy Academy – Saturday, October 17, 2020

In recognition of Black Energy Awareness Month (BEAM) in October, the NC Chapter of the American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) will host a Virtual Youth Energy Academy on Saturday, October 17, 2020 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The Virtual Youth Energy Academy focuses on increasing high school students (grades 9 – 12) knowledge about the energy industry and new technology. Students will learn about careers, jobs and occupational training requirements for different segments of the energy industry. Students will also learn the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) as they pursue their education and future careers.
